LIBERTY HILL, TEXAS – Liberty Hill ISD is “driven” to announce our new Director of Transportation Ann Hatton following Monday night’s Board meeting on June 19. 

Working in K-12 since 2016, Ann has experience working with Round Rock ISD, Leander ISD and most recently, Del Valle ISD where she held the position of Director of Transportation. Prior to working in the education industry, she worked at McCoy’s Building Supply as a credit analyst and a store manager for Subway restaurants.

Ann earned her bachelor's degree in Health and Wellness Promotion from Texas State University and furthered her education by attending University of Phoenix where she earned her masters in Business Administration. She then earned her Certified Transportation Official certification from Texas Association for Pupil Transportation. In addition, Ann brings an extensive background in leading large groups, organizing, budgeting, and relationship building. 

Ann’s partner, David McWilliams is a Quality Assurance engineer for Foreflight, a Boeing company. They live in Leander and enjoy sailing, scuba diving, hiking and flying in David’s plane. Ann also enjoys gardening, and working with clients to update and install new landscaping in their yards. A mother of two boys, Ann’s oldest son is pursuing his Animal Science degree at Texas A&M. He will be a junior this year and plans to apply to veterinarian school next year. The younger of her two boys will be a junior this coming school year at Leander HS. He enjoys tennis, chess and building computers.

“I am very excited to join the Panther community,” said Hatton. “I look forward to learning more about the students and the community, as well as contributing new ideas and experiences to help students grow to be champions!”
