Become a Paraprofessional

If you are a Liberty Hill ISD employee, you can apply to work in the classroom as a Paraprofessional. These positions include – All special education paraprofessionals and Pre-K paraprofessionals. To do so, you must:

1. Get an educational aide certification* (applied for upon employment; you can only apply if you are advised to apply by the district).
2. Must meet one of the following requirements to be considered "Highly Qualified".

A staff member is considered "Highly Qualified" if they have:

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester hours or equivalent trimester hours); or
• Associate’s (or higher) degree; or
• Met a rigorous standard of quality through a formal state/local assessment (provided by Liberty Hill ISD upon employment)
