LIBERTY HILL, TEXAS – The Liberty Hill ISD Board of Trustees approved moving up the opening of Legacy Ranch High School (LRHS) to Fall 2024. The Board approved this decision to allow for growth and avoid overcrowding.  

The building that was originally designed for Middle School 3 will open as LRHS for two years until the large high school opens. LRHS students will have the same academic, athletic, fine arts and CTE opportunities as the students attending Liberty Hill High School. The LRHS athletic fields will be ready in time for the premier class to arrive in Fall 2024. This inaugural class will have a voice in what the mascot and colors will be for their new school.
 

The District anticipates hiring a new principal for LRHS by October 2023. The current boundaries for Santa Rita Middle School will remain current for these first two school years. More details will be shared in the coming months.
