Good evening LHISD families and staff,

Due to lingering icy conditions on some country roads, the district will operate on a two-hour delayed start tomorrow.

This delay will allow additional time for staff to continue treating and preparing campus walkways and driveways, and for road conditions to improve for families and staff traveling to school.

Our operations team has already treated campus entryways; however, some areas may remain slick. Please continue to use caution when arriving on campus. If a parent or staff member is unable to travel safely, please notify the campus so student absences can be excused or staff coverage can be arranged.

Bus routes will run on a two-hour delay as well. If a bus experiences delays or is unable to safely access a specific area, families will receive updates through SmartTag.

As always, please do not attempt to travel if conditions are unsafe.
