Liberty Hill ISD is a closed district. All media requests must go through our Communications Department.
Please fill out this LHISD Communications Request or contact Rachel Acosta, Director of Communications at (512) 260-5512. Calling administrators or campuses will delay the transmission of information you or your reporters need to do their job. If the Communications Director is out of the office and you have an immediate need, please reach out to the Superintendent's office. Please contact Paula Kaderka at (512) 260-5580.
Please call as early in the school day as possible with your request. Coordination is required to accommodate the media where we have students.
Our campus hours are:
We cannot support same-day interviews on campuses if the request is made after 1 p.m.
Media is not allowed on our campuses or in our buildings without authorization from or the presence of the LHISD Director of Communication or LHISD Superintendent. We do not, generally, support spontaneous interviews of students or teachers. Student or staff interviews on LHISD property and/or during school hours must be requested through our Communications Department. This is for two reasons:
These guidelines extend to school buses or other forms of district transportation. The media is not allowed to board a bus to talk with students, staff, or parents, even if a Liberty Hill ISD bus or vehicle is not on our campus.
Communication is a priority at Liberty Hill ISD. We will make every effort to work with the media to ensure a positive and successful partnership. We look forward to working with you soon!
