Panther Care

Our Panther Care department provides premier services to the students and community of Liberty Hill. We offer on-site before and after-school child care at three of our elementary campuses. We also have a program full of enrichment opportunities for the students of Liberty Hill through our Panther Academy courses.

 


 

Panther Extended Care

Panther Extended Care is a before and after-school childcare program for elementary-aged students of Liberty Hill I.S.D. Children who attend Panther Extended Care will experience an innovative, enriching curriculum created by a certified teacher. Afternoon snacks will be provided along with dedicated homework/study time.

 

Mornings: 

  • Housed at Bill Burden
  • Open to ALL LHISD Pre-K - Fifth grade
  • 6:00 a.m. - 7:10 a.m.
  • Transportation to campuses is provided.

 

Afternoons:

Open to students of Bill Burden Elementary, Liberty Hill Elementary, Louine Noble Elementary

  • Pre-K - Fifth grade
  • 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Bar-W Elementary, Rancho Sienna Elementary, Santa Rita Elementary, and Tierra Rosa Elementary Schools have after-school childcare on-site provided by the YMCA of Central Texas. 

 

Price Per Month

The first full month of tuition will be due on August 12th. The first day of care is August 14, 2024. The last day of care is May 22, 2025. Panther Extended Care will not be open on in-service/work days. Please refer to the handbook for more details.

  • Mornings (a.m.) - $150
  • Afternoons (p.m.) - $350
  • Both a.m. and p.m. - $455

Reduced rates are offered for those who qualify.

    Panther Academy is a community program under Panther Care created to provide further enrichment opportunities for the students of LHISD. These courses are taught by LHISD staff members. Each campus will have its own offerings and new courses will form each semester.

    Most courses meet once a week for an hour long. Those courses that meet more than once a week have a note on the registration page. 

    Please note: Transportation is not provided.

    Classes are subject to cancellation if they do not meet the minimum registration limit.

  • Please note that according to IRS guidelines, childcare recipients are required to keep accurate records regarding expenses paid. Each time you pay tuition, you will have an opportunity to obtain a receipt. Please keep these for your records. The receipts are to be used for tax reporting purposes.

    Year-end statements can be found within the parent portal and printed at your convenience. This video shows you how to get the document you need to submit with your taxes.
